Wild Ivy is nestled in the serene town of Vélez-Blanco, in Spanish Andalusia, on the slopes of a mountain range, with beautiful valleys, rugged massifs, picturesque terraced land, with plenty of walks in every direction and caves dating back 7500 years - a rare blend of beauty, tranquility, and nature for self-guided practice and small group retreats.

Wild Ivy is a home for integral practice, self-directed stays, and buddhist retreats. Rooted in Zen, branching through trans-lineage collaboration. Whether in solo retreat or group training, practitioners are invited to co-create a field where the effects of meditation, relational practice and inquiry become a mirror for deep personal transformation.

Wild Ivy grows out of a 5-year collaborative project initiated in 2020 by Zen Master Daicho Roshi. With 10 bedroom retreat space, meditation hall and library, the house is dedicated to hosting extended meditation and personal growth programmes for advanced students of buddhism, Integral Theory, as well as other traditions.
